Its great for pressing seams that are in the middle of a block. Then just set it on the pressed area to hold the seam open..... it really does help!

I didn't know what a clapper was until I saw your site for the first time Since then I have seen them on various u tube videos and didn't think I would need one. I tried using a brick paver but I didn't notice any difference so I thought they were useless I saw your one with the felt on top and I thought I would give it a go...
