We recently told you a bit about the Piece and Love quilt kit featuring the adorable pieced heart pattern by Cloth Parcel. Could it be more sweet?! This week we have yet another beauty to share...this one for those with simpler tastes.
The Maypole quilt pattern was designed by Suzy Quilts and includes her trademark mix of graphic movement and simple construction. This quilt is ideal for the confident beginner or a quick make for the more experienced quilter.
The True Fabrics Maypole kit includes all the fabric you need to make the 56" x 63" quilt top and binding, plus a printed Maypole pattern booklet and instructions for color placement so it's super easy to replace the kit fabrics with what is listed in the original pattern. We have fabric yardage available for an optional add-on for backing your quilt as well as batting and thread. Our sample shown in the photos was finished with Hobbs Heirloom batting.
One of the things that immediately drew me to the Maypole quilt was that it would be great for a boy OR girl of any age. We so often hear from quilters looking for quilt patterns that are more 'masculine', or appropriate for baby/kid boys, teens, or for more neutral decor. There are plenty of girly quilts (and we love them!), so we are happy to share one you can make to gift anyone on your list.
