The Lucky Quilt

The Lucky Quilt

Last week, we debuted the Joseph’s Coat quilt kit, a fun rainbow design featuring bright colors. We’ve been having a lot of fun creating quilt kits for you from True Fabrics, and we’re excited to share another one in the series today! This quilt kit has a much simpler design, but it is just as stunning.

Take a look at the Lucky Quilt:

Lucky star quilt kit by True Fabrics and Love sew

The Lucky Quilt was designed by Sharon McConnell of Color Girl Quilts. It features a mix of squares, rectangles, and half-square triangles that form stars when they’re all put together. Star quilts are timeless. They are perfect for any occasion and any age.

With easy-to-piece block construction, the Lucky Quilt is perfect for beginners, or a quick sew for more experienced quilters. Sometimes it’s fun to sit back and relax as you work on a simple quilt that doesn’t require a lot of thinking or math. This one is just one step up from your basic patchwork quilt, and it is oh so lovely.

The Lucky Quilt is super fun and easy to make. Our quilt kit includes all the fabric you need to make a 56" x 72" quilt top plus binding. That’s the perfect size for a lap quilt or wall hanging. You can purchase a coordinating fabric for the backing from True Fabrics’ Sunshine Blooms collection.

We love Sunshine Blooms. The bright blues and buttery yellows are so cheerful and lively. They make you feel like you’re walking through a sunny meadow in spring. The collection features a mix of prints to make your quilt pop!

True Fabrics makes premium quilting fabric that will look beautiful and vibrant for years. That’s why we love to use it in our quilt kits. You will immediately notice the quality difference when your fabric arrives.

If you'd like to make the Lucky Quilt, we have a handful of kits available in our shop. We don’t know how long they’ll last. Grab your Lucky Quilt Kit today!
